स्वाद की परंपरा — our roots
We began in Salasar, a temple town in the Shekhawati region of Rajasthan, famous for the Balaji Mandir and its centuries-old food traditions. Rajasthani kitchens have always known how to turn the desert's bounty into something extraordinary — sun-dried Sangri, Fofaliya, Kachri and Khelra, spice-laced digestives after every meal, sweet-and-tangy mukhwas to finish the day. Shyam Salasar exists to keep that culinary heritage alive and put it on tables across India.
What we make
A carefully curated range of over thirty products: mouth-freshener mukhwas and paan mixes like Banarasi Paan, Shahi Gulab Mix and Paan Churi; digestive tablets and churan including Anardana Goli, Aam Pachak, Pudina and Pathar Hazam; candies from Black Pepper and Orange to Litchi Shots and Mix Fruit Balls; jellies and imli treats for the young ones; and traditional Rajasthani dried vegetables — Sangri, Fofaliya, Kachri and Khelra — prepared the way they've been prepared for generations.
